Garment Style
One front and one rear protective panel, with additional groin, collar, and shoulder panels, plus removable accessory pockets, floatation device, and lifting handle.
Special Features
Providing upper body protection to the central abdominal organs, including heart, liver, kidney and spleen. Velcro adjustment on sides and shoulders allows variation of 10cm in waist size and 5cm in garment length. Flexibility and low weight enables the jacket to be worn comfortably for long periods of duty without restricting wearer manoeuvrability.
Outer Garment
The Vest’s outer garment is washable and made of high quality Nylon Cordura fabric that is specially treated to be flame retardant, water repellent, and abrasion resistant. The innermost layer is made with “3-D air mesh” fabric, which draws perspiration away from the wearer’s body and facilitates airflow to ensure maximum comfort.
Lumbar Support
An integrated Body Belt and adjustable Lumbar Support greatly improve the ergonomic characteristics of the Vest and provide continuous comfort during lengthy periods of wear. Independent medical consultants have endorsed the Body Belt feature.
